![]() Still, Intuit FORCED people to upgrade it every 3 years in order to have the honor and privilage to fork over $750ish for payroll service for a handfull of employees. Accounting has been more or less the same for the last 30 years so unless someone really needs to use online payments or other services that Intuit offers and pay a premium for it, there was never any reason to update it. The source of the frustration is that in the past, I could go to Amazon, a trusted place where I buy a lot of my online products and purchase a 1 time license for Quickbooks Desktop and for $180, it would work for as long as I needed it to work. ![]() I think you are missing the point of frustration here. The associate took over an hour to talk with me, allow me to voice my concerns and he answered my questions! They talk you through everything and will help you decide what’s the best fit. ![]() ![]() I will never chat or try to figure it out online again. I highly suggest you call, so much better talking to someone who can answer questions, concerns! I cant tell you how much stress was lifted, not having to rush and buy something without trying it out and allowing me to take time to make a decision! I can choose to continue to pay annually but a switch may be in order. I decided to continue with 2020 until after my April payroll, then I will upgrade to QBDT 2023, the cost is now 549.00 annually (was 349.00) plus the enhanced payroll updates, another 500.00 a year. I downloaded the product to have it on hand. I spoke with an associate and we discussed everything. After looking for days, I found the 800 number and called: 446-8848. ![]()
